Urban Radio Stations

Urban (or urban contemporary) is a radio format which features music genres such as hip hop, rap, rnb, soul, grime, electronic dance music (edm) such as dubstep, drum and bass and uk garage, as well as caribbean music such as reggae, dancehall, reggaeton, zouk and soca. The term urban contemporary is to a great extent associated with african-american music such as contemporary rnb and soul, but over the years its meaning has extended to also include a wide range of other genres of music.
